Overview

Producers gather in a professional studio setting to network, share tracks, and foster collaboration in the vibrant Nashville music scene.

The best thing you'll make this year probably starts with a conversation you haven't had yet.

Nashville's producers, engineers, and audio creatives gather at HOME on the second Tuesday of every month for honest feedback, real craft conversation, and direct access to working professionals who rarely talk this openly outside a session.

Each month features a guest from the production world who talks honestly about how they think, how they work, and how they've sustained a career in an industry that doesn't make it easy.

What the evening looks like:

  • 6:00PM - Open networking. These are working producers and engineers, not people handing out business cards hoping something sticks.
  • 6:30 PM - Intimate Q&A with a monthly featured guest. This is where you hear how someone actually built something, not the version they'd give in an interview.
  • 7:00 PM - Small-group listening sessions in HOME's 24/7 studios (bring a track or just your ears)

Bring something in progress if you have it. Leave with at least one conversation you'll still be thinking about on Wednesday.

Ages 21+. BYOB. Complimentary refreshments while supplies last. Great food nearby before or after.

The HOME community is where Nashville's music creators build sustainable careers together. RSVP now - space is limited!

*Donations accepted - all donation proceeds benefit the Helping Music Foundation, whose mission is to support, educate, and elevate the musicians in your community. Make a donation HERE.

June's Featured Guest:

DQ - Songwriter/ Composer, Producer, Engineer, Vocal Coach

ABOUT DQ

David "DQ" Quiñones is a rare blend of warmth, humility, and success — an artist whose infectious personality makes you feel like you’ve known him for years, even if you’ve just met. Beneath this approachable nature lies a world-class hitmaker whose work has shaped some of the biggest names in music today. DQ has written and collaborated with iconic artists like Beyoncé, Brandy, Demi Lovato, Enrique Iglesias, Jason Derulo, JLo, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and the Pussycat Dolls, but you won’t hear him boast about it. Instead, he lets the music speak for itself.

Music is in DQ’s DNA. His journey began at the prestigious Shenandoah University Conservatory and Berklee College of Music, where he studied music education, classical voice, production, and engineering. As a singer himself, his heart lies with fellow vocalists — whether he’s producing in the studio or coaching on America’s Got Talent, DQ’s ability to help artists unlock their best selves is a testament to both his musical expertise and his easy-going charm.

DQ believes in the power of collaboration and credits his success to surrounding himself with like-minded storytellers. Through these partnerships, he co-founded The Writing Camp, a collective that brings together talented songwriters, publishers, and music creatives. This collective spirit has been the foundation of DQ's approach to music — "hits before splits" — always valuing unity over individual accolades, because, as he says, “10% of something is better than 100% of nothing.”

Currently based in Nashville, DQ’s focus is on mentoring and developing the next generation of artists and hitmakers. His goal is to help build a stronger bridge between Nashville’s rich storytelling tradition and the cutting-edge songwriting processes of LA’s Top 40 scene.

DQ stands by the belief that magic happens when creative minds come together: "The only ego in the room should be the song." His mantra? “Don’t let the song you’re writing today be the last great song you ever get the chance to write because of your ego."

July's Featured Guest: David Mullen, Producer/ Songwriter

ABOUT DAVID MULLEN

David Mullen grew up near Muscle Shoals absorbing everything — Southern soul, Florida funk, rock radio, and the early days of hip-hop — before moving to Nashville and signing to Warner Brothers Records after a single showcase. His debut album Revival hit number one, produced four chart-topping singles, and earned a Grammy nomination and GMA Dove Award for Best New Artist.

He eventually stepped off the road and into the studio full-time, and that's where the real body of work lives: 250+ cuts, 22 number-one singles, 10 Dove Awards, multiple Grammy nominations, and over 30 Gold or Platinum awards. He's written and produced for artists across genres, collaborating with names ranging from Tom Petty and B.B. King to TobyMac and CeCe Winans, and he co-owns a historic studio in downtown Franklin with TobyMac.

These days David writes for TV, film, and recording projects, and continues developing artists through Collab Music in Nashville.
