About this event

This course covers Level 1 Water Distribution (WD-1) system operations. Course topics include drinking water disinfection, hydraulics, pumps, water storage, fire hydrants, meters and valves, math, the Safe Drinking Water Act, and more.


Blended Format: This comprehensive, certification preparation course will use a Blended format, which means it consists of two sequential parts:


(Part 1 is live on-line) and (Part 2 is in-person).


The in-person Part 2 picks up where the virtual Part 1 ends. Part 2 will not review Part 1. Part 2 includes free exam sessions.


Part 1 meets: Monday through Friday (On-Line)

Dates: March 30 - April 3, 2026

Times: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Mountain Daylight Time)

Location: ZOOM


Part 2 meets: Monday through Friday (In-Person)

Dates: April 6 - 10, 2026

Times: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Local Time)

Location: Flagstaff, Arizona
