RECONNECT - Womans Art & Yoga Camp Retreat
Let's get artsy and stretchy at the RECONNECT - Art & Yoga Camp, where creativity and relaxation meet in the wilderness!
RECONNECT: Women’s Yoga & Art Camp (ANZAC Long Weekend 2026)
Escape the daily grind. Drop the mask. Come home to the Village.
We spend so much of our lives holding it together—managing schedules, caring for others, and scrolling through the noise. What if you could just… stop?
Join us for RECONNECT, a transformative 4-day long weekend dedicated to the art of slowing down. Hosted by Ataahua Art, this is a sacred space for women (aged 35+) to weave together movement, mindfulness, and creative expression.
The Vibe: "Process over Perfection" We practice "Parallel Presence"—the ability to be together without the pressure to entertain. You can paint without being an artist. You can move your body just to feel good. You can nap when you’re tired.
This special ANZAC Weekend Edition is designed to honor the tradition of remembrance while holding space for your deep restoration.
✨ The "Village" Upgrade: Why this isn't just a camping trip
We know the biggest barrier to a retreat is often the discomfort. We’ve solved that.
- We Provide the Bed: Forget the blow-up mattress! We provide comfortable mattresses in the large Community Hall. You just bring your cozy bedding.
- The "Sleep Survival Kit": Worried about noise in a shared space? Every guest receives a luxury Digital Bluetooth Sleep Mask in their Welcome Pack. Connect it to your phone, play rain sounds, and drift off in your own private cocoon.
- We Cook, You Eat: Put down the mental load. Delicious vegetarian breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are fully catered for you.
(Prefer privacy? You are welcome to BYO Tent and camp on the beautiful grassed area).
🎨 The Art: Messy, Tactile & Grounding
You don't need to be "good" at art. Our workshops are designed to get you out of your head and into your hands.
- "The Village Canvas": A high-energy abstract painting game to break the ice.
- "Nature’s Canvas": Foraging in the forestry sanctuary to create Texture Art using clay paste and organic materials.
- "Reflections": A self-love workshop sculpting Clay Mirror Frames and embedding them with crystals.
🧘♀️ The Wellness: Deep Rest for the Nervous System
- Somatic Hatha: Gentle movement to release travel fatigue.
- Laughter Yoga: A high-vibe session to shake off heaviness.
- Yin Yoga & Sound Healing: Deep stretching accompanied by healing instruments.
- Cacao Ceremony: Heart-opening ritual with guided journaling.
- Hula Flow: A joyful, low-impact session connecting to feminine energy.
