The Oregon State Society of American Foresters is hosting this year's PNW Leadership Conference at McMenamins Grand Lodge. Forestry professionals and emerging leaders from across the Pacific Northwest are encouraged to attend, along with students in forestry and natural resources and early- to mid-career professionals interested in developing leadership skills and building professional networks. SAF members and non-members are welcome.WHO SHOULD ATTENDIn a moment when the pace of change can feel constant, this conference is designed to help participants spot opportunity, lead with confidence, and bring people with them.Through engaging sessions and interactive experiences, attendees will strengthen practical leadership skills that translate directly back to the workplace, including communication, interpersonal effectiveness, and critical thinking, alongside intentional networking breaks and team-building activities that create lasting professional connections.Sending staff to the PNW Leadership Conference is a tangible investment in retention and internal leadership capacity, while demonstrating a clear commitment to professional development within the forest sector.REGISTRATIONEarly bird discount registration is available through Feb. 26, after which non-student prices increase by $50. Registration includes lunch and evening social on March 12, breakfast and lunch on March 13. There will also be refreshments available during networking breaks.CFE CREDITS 9.5 Cat 2 CFEs are offered for this event.LODGINGA block of rooms are available at a special group rate at McMenamins Grand Lodge through February 26, after which rooms are subject to availability at current rates.
