Enjoy stories, songs, and movement at your own pace in this adaptive storytime for adults with special needs and their caregivers.

This adaptive storytime welcomes adults with special needs and their caregivers for a shared experience of stories, songs, and movement. Participants are encouraged to sing, move, and interact at their own comfort level while building community and enjoying time together in a relaxed, supportive setting.No registration required. Adults must be accompanied by their caregivers. Your attendance to this program grants permission to the City of Santa Clara to take your photograph and/or your child's photograph for marketing purposes. This program is presented as part of <a href="https://www.siliconvalleyreads.org/" title="https://www.siliconvalleyreads.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Silicon Valley Reads</a>, a community engagement program that features books and an annual theme to bring people together by providing more than 100 free, public <a href="https://www.siliconvalleyreads.org/calendar" title="https://www.siliconvalleyreads.org/calendar" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">events for all ages</a> each year. In today’s world, the need for connection is more important and more powerful than ever. Our 2026 theme, Bridges to Belonging, explores how we can build bridges... to one another, to our families, and to our communities, to create genuine belonging.
