Not at all. Whether you're brand new to art or already building a portfolio, Teen Art Studio is a place to experiment, learn, and grow.

Who leads the program?

Abigail Lindquist is a practicing artist and experienced educator who works closely with teens. She brings a supportive, hands-on approach to helping young artists build skills and strengthen their portfolios.

Does my ticket include admission to the mural exhibit?

Yes, your ticket includes admission to the mural exhibit for the entire day.

Question 4

Where is Teen Art Studio held?

Accepted Answer

All sessions take place at the American Mural Project, 90 Whiting Street, Winsted, CT—in our program room, just steps from the mural exhibit.

Question 5

Do I need to check in when I arrive?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We ask that all Teen Art Workshop participants be signed in by a parent or guardian at the Visitor Services desk before they leave.

Question 6

What about food and drink?

Accepted Answer

We recommend eating before you arrive and bringing a relillable water bottle. Winsted and surrounding towns also offer restaurants, recreation, and shopping.
