Cylburn Summer Nature Camp 2026

Join Cylburn Arboretum Friends for learning and outdoor fun this summer! All activities are held on-site at Baltimore's Cylburn Arboretum.

About Our Camp

Cylburn Arboretum Friends’ Summer Nature Camp teaches children knowledge of and respect for the nature that surrounds them. Campers will explore our 200+ acres and learn about the plants, animals, fungi, and habitats they encounter. They will spend their days at camp hiking the trails and partaking in environmental education lessons, activities, art, and group games. Our goals are to nurture a sense of wonder and curiosity about the natural world and to help children learn to be good stewards of their environment. All age groups are led by certified teachers and naturalists. Camper to staff ratio is 6:1 to allow for plenty of individualized attention to each camper’s needs. Each camper will receive a Cylburn Nature Camp t-shirt included in their registration.

2026 Camp Sessions

Rates INCLUDE ALL FEES!

Due to high demand, each camper is limited to TWO WEEKS of camp.

Mini Camps (Entering PreK-1st grade/Ages 4-6)

• June 1-5 (1-week session) 9am-1pm $325 + optional after care (1-3pm) $100
• June 8-12 (1 week session) 9am-1pm $325 + optional after care (1-3pm) $100

Elementary Camps (Entering K-5th grade/Ages 5-10)

• June 15-26 (2-week session, NO CAMP on Juneteenth-6/19) 9am-3pm $775 + optional after care (3-5pm) $180
• June 29-July 2 (1-week session) 9am-3pm $435 + optional after care (3-5pm) $100
• July 6-10 (1-week session) 9am-3pm $435 + optional after care (3-5pm) $100

Middle School Camp (Entering 6th-8th grade/Ages 11-13)

• July 13-17(1-week session) $435 (no after care offered) Monday-Thursday: 9am-3pm + Thursday evening session from 7-9 pm. Friday: Camp from 9am-1pm.

Cancellation Policy:

• Before May 1, 75% of your registration will be refunded.
• May 1- June 1, 50% of your registration will be refunded.
• June 1- One week before camp start date, 25% of your registration will be refunded.
• No refunds will be given after 1 week prior to the camp start date.
