Build your wastewater operations knowledge and network with industry peers at the NOVA Regional Institute. Continuing professional education (CPE) credits will be provided for Virginia Professional Engineers and Operators.
In collaboration with the Northern Virginia regional water and wastewater authorities, AlexRenew is hosting a workshop focused on wastewater operations geared towards current wastewater operators who are pursuing certification or wastewater professionals that would like to transition into operations at their facilities.
The first two days of this four-day workshop are focused on operators who are advancing from Grade-3 to Grade-2. Days three and four are focused on operators who are advancing from Grade-2 to Grade-1.
The goal of this course is to ensure that operators have the necessary preparation to understand wastewater treatment process, monitoring, and control, and pass their certification exams, to support our collective mission to protect the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay.
The workshop is being developed in conjunction with Hazen and will include subject matter experts/guest lecturers from across the industry.
Please note that class size is limited to 50 total participants.
