What is PWR Hour?

PWR Hour is a women-only strength training class designed to help you build power, confidence, and community.  We dedicate 45 mins to the workout and the remaining 15 mins for community building and refreshments when provided.

Do I need prior experience with lifting weights?

Nope! This class is great for someone who is new to the movements and modality of strength training.

Question 3

What should I bring?

Bring you (and a friend if you're feeling it), supportive sneakers, and bottle of water!  We'll bring the workout and equipment.  Make sure you arrive 15 minutes early to get checked in.

Where is it held?

PWR Hour is located at Pink Moon in Bethesda.  You'll see it on top of the Chipotle.  To enter the space, you'll have to take the elevators between Chipotle and &pizza to the Sky Walk level.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes! The more the merrier.  Make sure you get your tickets because we do keep the class small to better support our community.

Is this only for women?

PWR Hour is a women-only fitness class, created to give women the opportunity to build strength and community together.  Pink Moon is also a women's only space.

What if I’ve never done a strength training  fitness class before?

That’s exactly why we created PWR Hour. It’s approachable and beginner-friendly but also challenging for those who may be more experienced with strength training.

Question 8

Where should I park?

Accepted Answer

Parking is available in Metropolitan Lot 49 through Park Mobile for $1.50 per hour. You can enter the garage at 7601 Woodmont Avenue and take the elevator or stairs up to level (P) Plaza/Skywalk level.
