Watercolor is a superb medium for capturing the delicacy of the sea, and in this 2-hour class you’ll create your own lovely watercolor painting while learning essential techniques such as washes, color mixing, and value and tone. You may bring your own printed 5x7 reference photo or choose from a selection provided by the instructor—images featuring boats, beaches, or beautiful skies work especially well. Our drawing method makes even complex subjects easy to draw. If you need help resizing or printing your photo, let us know in advance; photocopies are fine. All materials are included, with high-quality paint, paper, brushes, and drawing supplies provided.
