The Grand Tasting is the centerpiece of the Rhode Island Wine Experience—an immersive celebration of wine, culture, and conversation set in the heart of downtown Providence. Hosted at The Capital Grille, 10 Memorial Blvd, this signature event brings together 45–50 acclaimed wine producers and brands alongside curated food vendors for an afternoon of discovery, connection, and indulgence.Guests will have the opportunity to sample a diverse and thoughtfully selected range of wines from around the world while engaging directly with the people behind the labels. Complementing the tastings, specialty food offerings will be available throughout the experience, designed to enhance and elevate each pour.In addition to tastings, admission includes access to three dynamic panel discussions,These conversations bring together industry leaders, media voices, and sommeliers to explore the evolving world of wine:• The Business of Wine: How Brands Grow, Market, and Thrive Moderator: Alexa Gagosz, The Boston Globe• Beyond the Bottle: How Wine Programs Shape the Hospitality Experience Moderator: Adam H. Callaghan, Food &amp; Wine / Wine Enthusiast• Art of the Pour: Inside the Mind of a Sommelier Moderator: Wanda Mann, Sommelier and Wine with WandaFor the first time, the Grand Tasting will also debut an exclusive Spirits Lounge, featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of premium spirits for guests to explore in an elevated, intimate setting.Each guest will receive a branded Wine X crystal wine glass, along with Wine X swag and curated goodies from festival partners, making the experience both memorable and collectible.The Grand Tasting is designed for wine lovers, hospitality professionals, and curious enthusiasts alike—offering an elevated yet approachable environment to taste, learn, and celebrate the art of wine.
