What is the dress code?

Accepted Answer

Dress Code: Black Tie/Formal. Military: Dress Uniform highly encouraged. Civilian: Gowns or Tuxedos.
Safety: Per Force Protection guidance, military service members may travel in civilian clothes. Changing rooms and secure storage are available on-site starting at 4:30pm.

Can I wear my medals? (For military veterans)

Accepted Answer

Yes, veterans and active-duty personnel are encouraged to wear their earned medals and ribbons in accordance with their branch’s uniform regulations.

Where do I park?

Accepted Answer

Parking at the Skirball Cultural Center is free for gala attendees. Please park in the North Parking garage (underground). If you have an ADA placard, you may use the South Parking garage for closer access to the entrance.

Question 4

Is there a rideshare drop-off?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Please direct your driver to the Herscher Way entrance (north side of the campus) for drop-off at the Main Entrance. Note: Do not let drivers drop you off on Sepulveda Blvd for safety reasons.

Question 5

Do I need to bring a printed ticket?

Accepted Answer

No, digital tickets on your phone via the Eventbrite app are preferred. We will also have a guest list at check-in for your convenience.

Question 6

Will there be a "Late Seating" policy?

Accepted Answer

To honor our award recipients and maintain the program's flow, guests arriving after 7:00 PM may be asked to wait for a transition in the program before being seated.

Question 7

What happens if I don’t submit my meal selection in time?

Accepted Answer

If we don’t receive your meal selection before our catering deadline, you will most likely be served the chicken entrée, as it is our standard default. We will do our best to accommodate preferences when possible, but submitting your selection ensures we can plan accurately and serve you promptly.
