BookSpring Fest is a FREE outdoor festival where families can listen to local heroes and celebrity-type people read aloud and perform.

BookSpring Fest: A Read Aloud Celebration is a FREE, family-friendly outdoor festival celebrating the joy of reading together! Enjoy refreshments and reading-themed carnival games between live performances across three stages. This year’s event will include 30 community leaders such as Kirk Watson, restaurateur C.K Chin, and youth literacy advocate Orion Jean, along with interactive musical performances, children's book authors, and lots of character performers (Spiderman, Princess Belle, Stormtroopers, etc) Also: STEM activities with GirlStart and a special scavenger huntHosted by BookSpring, a nonprofit dedicated to building early childhood literacy, this festival invites families and neighbors to come together around something we can all get behind: helping get books into the hands of children who need them most.Learn more at <a href="https://bookspringfest.org" title="https://bookspringfest.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">BookSpringFest.org</a>Take a glimpse at the fun from last year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKoiuIzztOI
