PCA Cobb Strategy Team Meetings

The PCA Cobb Strategy Team meetings are a bi-monthly opportunity for community leaders, partners, and stakeholders to come together in a collaborative space to focus on strengthening families, preventing child abuse and neglect, and fostering action.

As the lead council in Cobb County for <a href="https://www.cobbcollaborative.org/pca-cobb" title="https://www.cobbcollaborative.org/pca-cobb" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Positive Childhood Alliance (PCA) Georgia</a>, Cobb Collaborative hosts bi-monthly PCA Cobb Strategy Team Meetings. These meetings bring together local leaders, agencies, stakeholders, and nonprofit organizations who serve children and families in Cobb County and across the state to collaborate on strategies that strengthen families while preventing child abuse and neglect.This meeting features Irene Barton, Cobb Collaborative Executive Director, sharing data from the Georgia Family Connection Partnership and Natalie Rutledge, with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, discussing their impact on children and families. From the direct service providers who share resources with families, to the local policymakers who advocate for prevention, PCA Cobb Strategy Teams are a place for us to drive awareness, share best practices, uplift local services and protective factors, and gain insight on how to implement effective programs that support families in our community. Who is this event for: Meetings are open to any organization, agency, or individual who serve children and families in Cobb County and across the state of Georgia, and who are interested in collaborating on strategies that strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect.
