February Monthly Membership Meeting

The Nashville Junior Chamber (NJC) is a non-profit professional organization representing 200+ men and women, between the ages of 21 to 40. The NJC helps members develop and grow in their professional and personal lives by providing leadership development and social, cultural and business networking opportunities. The NJC develops and implements several fundraising events for Middle Tennessee nonprofit organizations.

Join the NJC to celebrate our previous month and talk about what is on the horizon, followed by a conversation with a non-profit leader.

1212 Germantown

Join us at our February Membership Meeting on Tuesday, February 24th at 1212 Germantown!This month we will hear from Leah Melber, President and CEO of the Adventure Science Center! If you love science, museum culture, and learning about leadership- this is the session for you.Networking will be from 5:30-6 p.m. Conversation begins at 6pm. Drinks will be provided. Street parking is available as are a few spaces behind the venue (first come, first serve).Special thanks to 1212 Germantown for hosting us in their space. Dr. Melber’s has spent over 30 years working within museums, science centers, zoos, and aquariums to advance public understanding of science, pathways to STEM careers, and the wonder of the world around us. Her work has focused on innovative educational practice, change resiliency, and how informal learning institutions can best connect with their communities. She holds a doctorate in education from the University of Southern California and has published her work widely, presented to colleagues around the world, and been recognized with several industry awards. She stepped into the role of President and CEO of the Adventure Science Center in 2023 and established as an early priority new and revitalized experiences for the science center’s members, visitors and community partners.
