COURSE DESCRIPTION
Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses® (ATCN®) is an advanced course designed for the registered nurse interested in increasing his/her knowledge in management of the multiple trauma patient. ATCN® was developed to teach established standards of care and practical, life-saving skills.
This a one day course that includes required pre-course modules and practical skills stations and moulage assessment stations which demonstrate the application of the didactic information.
Skills Stations: Initial Assessment & Management, Airway & Ventilatory Management, Pediatric Trauma, Hemorrhagic Shock, Musculoskeletal & Spine Trauma, Head Trauma
TARGET AUDIENCE
Recommended for emergency/trauma and critical care nurses with at least 2 years trauma experience. Previously completed TNCC for ED nurses.

Day One: 07:30 am- 6:00 PM
The course will be held at Texas Children's Hospital Feign Center.
