<h3>In our Photography Essentials Part 1 course, you will learn about the fundamentals of your camera and its capabilities.</h3>This course includes a review of the following items:<ul><li>The difference between RAW and JPG file types</li><li>Memory Card selection, use, and maintenance</li><li>Scene Modes</li><li>Understanding White Balance and ISO</li><li>Aperture &amp; Shutter Speed, and how to use Aperture and Shutter Priority Modes</li><li>Introduction to Composition</li><li>Recommended accessories</li></ul>There are opportunities to take this session online or in-store.

<h2>HOW TO PARTICIPATE</h2>FOR IN-PERSON SESSIONSJoin us in Glazer's Classroom on the 2nd floor of our store at 811 Republican St, Seattle, WA 98109. These in-person sessions will be limited to 15 people.Please bring your camera, with a fully charged battery, lens, and memory card, to follow along during the session. Masks may be required due to the small space available in the classroom. FOR ONLINE SESSIONSThese sessions will take place on the Zoom platform. Those who register will receive an email about 30 minutes before the live event starts with a link to join the Zoom session and a password. We recommend you have your camera handy to follow along through the live presentation. For each session type, you will have the opportunity to ask questions!
