Respiratory Safety and Fit Testing Training

<h2>Session Purpose &amp; Outcomes</h2><p>This training will focus on regulatory requirements, identifying and purchasing respirators &amp; cartridges, training requirements, medical clearance, fit testing, and safe use of respirators. The program will :</p><ul><li>Prepare someone to be a Respiratory Safety Supervisor (someone who can provide fit testing).</li><li>Provide use, safety, and law training for pesticide applicators using respirators and</li><li>Provide hands-on fit testing opportunities. Attendees will fit test each other.</li></ul><p><br></p><h2>**Certified Fit Testing**</h2><p>Certified Fit testing will follow the training. Fit testing will be limited and provided to individuals on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are interested in a certified fit test, RSVP to Michael Wierda (michael.wierda@usu.edu) via email ASAP.</p><h2>Medical Clearance COMPLETION REQUIRED FOR CERTIFIED FIT-TESTING</h2><p>Those who wish to receive a certified fit test must complete their medical clearance before the event and bring their medical clearance certificate.
