What if I can't make it to class anymore? Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

We do not allow refunds. However, if for any reason you cannot make it to your paddle class, we can change your registration to a different class date. Please contact us at info@urbanboatbuilders.org or 651-644-9225 at least 7 days before your scheduled class date to request a date change.

Question 2

Do I have to be there for both days?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we require you to be there for both days of the class so you can experience the entire paddle making process from start to finish! However, if you have an emergency, please talk to the instructor or contact info@urbanboatbuilders.org or 651-644-9225

Question 3

Can I get a gift certificate? How do I use it?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You may purchase a paddle making class gift certificate at https://www.urbanboatbuilders.org/woodworking-classes. You will be emailed a certificate with a code to use at checkout.

Question 4

I didn't finish my paddle. Can I come in to finish it?

Accepted Answer

Your  instructor should give you tips on how to finish on the last day of class. If you still need assistance, please email info@urbanboatbuilders.org or 651-644-9225 to discuss opportunities to work on your paddle.

When does class registration close?

Accepted Answer

Class registration closes 2 days before the first class in order to give our instructor enough time to prep.
