Where will the keynote and sessions be located?

Accepted Answer

Our sessions will be located all within two blocks in downtown Bozeman.  Each day's Keynote will kick off at the Ellen Theater at 8:30 a.m. followed by our sessions at the AC Marriott, the Baxter Hotel, and Event Space.  Our main exhibitor location will be at the Event Space.

Question 2

Where can we find reasonable Bozeman lodging?

Accepted Answer

The AC Marriott has been excellent to work with and is our host hotel with a block of rooms for our attendees at the state rate.  We also have worked with the Lark and have a discount code.  You can find this information at https://montanacec.org/room-blocks .

Are there evening events this year?

Accepted Answer

We have decided to give your evenings back to you and your teams in downtown Bozeman.  There are so many great options of dinner downtown we hope you enjoy yourselves and colleagues.

What about parking?

Parking in downtown Bozeman could be a bit tricky, but we are right near a parking garage in downtown Bozeman.

Question 5

When and where is registration?

Accepted Answer

Registration will be Tuesday evening at the AC Marriott's entrance from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and then each morning at the Ellen Theater starting 7:45 a.m. when you arrive for the Keynote!

Question 6

What is the "food and drink" plan?

Accepted Answer

The first day's lunch (April 8th) is on your own- and second-day's lunch (April 9th) will be provided as a "grab and visit" lunch at the Event Space with our exhibitors.  Grab your own breakfast and early morning coffee before the Keynotes.  We will have drinks and sweet treats at our sessions.

Question 7

What is the Ukeru Train the Trainer option I've read about?

Accepted Answer

Ukeru is a national crisis intervention program to offer alternatives to the use of restraints/seclusion by using trauma-informed care/restraint reduction.  Ukeru is offering a Train the Trainer Event on Tues., April 7th and Fri., April 10th at the Willson School.  Email coordinator@montanacec.org.

Question 8

Where will I be able to learn more about the sessions for pre-registration?

Accepted Answer

We will have all session descriptions and details firmed up and available with locations and times by February 1st at www.Montanacec.org.  It will be found under 2026 Conference "Schedule".

Question 9

How many OPI renewal units (PDUs) will I receive and how will I receive them?

Accepted Answer

By attending the entire conference, you can earn 12 OPI renewal credits (PDUs).  Each regular session is worth 1.25 units (rounding example: 1.75 is 1 unit, not 2 units).  You will receive them by checking out on Thursday between 3-5  pm at the Event Space.
