Divina @ the DAM

We look forward to having you join us for this group contemplative practice as we engage the fantastic collections at the Denver Art Museum!

Divina @ the DAM is a guided experience of Visio Divina at the Denver Art Museum. Visio Divina (“divine seeing” in Latin) is the slow, meditative contemplation of an artwork, photograph or other visual that invites us to encounter the Divine through imagery.

In this small group experience, we spend extended time individually with a single piece of art and then gather to share and process together. We let go of cerebral analysis of the image and of working hard to make spiritual connections and open up to silent noticing, imagination, and allow space for whatever emerges.

Hosted on the 1st Tuesday of each month, we meet as a group in the entryway of the Hamilton building to get direction for the evening. There is no cost for this experience using promo code "DIVINA" and admission to the museum is included. Or you can choose Donation Ticket and donate any amount you'd like.
