Connecting Georgia Veterans is pleased to invite our community partners, supporters, and veteran advocates to our upcoming Quarterly Meeting on Wednesday, February 11, hosted at American Legion Post 160 in Smyrna, Georgia.We will begin the morning with networking at 8:30 a.m., providing time to connect with fellow veteran service providers, nonprofit leaders, and community stakeholders who share a commitment to strengthening support systems for veterans across Cobb County and the metro Atlanta area. These informal conversations often spark new partnerships and ideas that lead to real impact for the veterans we serve.Following networking, we are honored to host a Town Hall–style meeting featuring Chairwoman Lisa Cupid of Cobb County. Chairwoman Cupid will discuss county priorities, community challenges, and the importance of collaboration in addressing issues such as veteran homelessness, housing stability, and access to critical services. The town hall format will allow for open dialogue and audience engagement, making this a valuable opportunity to be part of the conversation.This quarterly meeting is designed to bring together those working on the front lines of veteran support with community leaders and decision-makers. Whether you are a service provider, nonprofit partner, advocate, or concerned community member, your voice and participation matter.Who is this event for: Meetings are open to any organizations and individuals who serve veterans in Cobb County and across the state of Georgia.
