BLS Healthcare Provider CPR (**for healthcare workers only**)

The mission of the Elk Grove Village Fire Department is to provide our residents with the highest level of fire and life safety protective services. The Department provides 24-hour fire, rescue, and paramedic services from three fire stations located strategically throughout the Village. The Department operates four Advanced Life Support (ALS) Mobile Intensive Care Ambulances, 2 ALS engines, 2 ALS Quints, and 1 ALS Squad staffed by State of Illinois Licensed Paramedics. Last year the Fire Department responded to over five thousand total incidents, of which, approximately 60% were emergency medical responses.

<p>This course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.</p>
