Are the photos free?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Photos with Santa are free with your monetary or physical donation to Columbus Humane. You can bring your donation the day of your session or drop it off anytime from December 1st–20th at any Puptown Lounge lobby.

Question 2

Who can be in the photos?

Accepted Answer

Anyone you’d like!
	•	Just your pup(s)
	•	Just the humans
	•	Or the whole family together

We simply ask that all dogs are friendly and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Question 3

Can I bring a dog who isn’t a Puptown daycare/boarding client?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. The event is open to all friendly, vaccinated dogs — even if you’re only visiting for photos.

Question 4

Where will the photos be taken?

At every Puptown Lounge location, Santa will be hanging out in our Small Dog Playrooms!

It’s a fun chance for families to see where our small pups — and big dogs with small dog energy — love to spend their day. The space will be decorated and set up specifically for Santa photos with props & more.

Question 5

Who is the photographer?

Accepted Answer

Photos are taken by Julianne Johnson, a professional photographer known for capturing real, joyful moments with pets and families. Edited digital photos will be emailed to you after the event. Please allow a few days for delivery.

Question 6

How long will it take to receive my edited photos?

Accepted Answer

You will receive an email with your edited images within a few days after the event. Turnaround time may vary slightly depending on the volume of sessions done by Julie our photographer. Once we receive the finalized photos we will start emailing (for best quality) or Text them out to you.

Question 7

Can I take my own pictures too?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Owners are welcome to take photos with their phones or personal cameras. Our team is happy to assist if you need help snapping a few extras.

Question 8

What kind of donations does Columbus Humane accept?

Accepted Answer

They accept a wide variety of items including treats, toys, blankets, cleaning supplies, and more. Monetary donations are also appreciated. If you’re unsure, feel free to bring any new or gently used pet-related item, ask our staff for guidance or visit Columbus Humane's website.

Question 9

Can I drop off my donation even if I’m not attending photos?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can drop off donations at any Puptown Lounge lobby between December 1st–20th.

Question 10

My dog isn’t fond of other dogs. Can we still participate?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If your pup is uncomfortable around other dogs but is totally fine with humans, we can absolutely accommodate you.

When you arrive, give us a quick call. We’ll check you in over the phone and let you know as soon as the lobby is clear so you can safely bring your pup inside to see Santa.
