Bring water, a yoga mat, blanket and/or bolster if you like. Need to borrow some? No problem!

Comfortable, unrestrictive clothing. Layers work great!

Unlike flow yoga that targets the muscles, Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues: ligaments, bones, and joints. Poses are held for 2-5 minutes to open the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.

Is class appropriate for beginners?

Absolutely! This introductory class is most appropriate for students new to Yin.
