Individual Artist Fellowship Awards Celebration
Overview
Celebrate the Arkansas creatives making a difference statewide and be part of the 40th year anniversary of the Individual Artist Fellowship program! The Arkansas Arts Council will recognize 16 creatives in six different categories during a special celebration 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, at Mosaic Templars Cultural Center. These creatives earned the state's top award for individual creatives in 2025.
The event is free and will include catered food, artist showcases, live music, poetry, dance and more. Find artist showcases and exhibits! Events happen simultaneously.
REGISTRATION IS NOT REQUIRED, BUT HELPS STAFF PLAN.
Awardees for 2025 are:
Performing Arts: Dance Choreography

Literary Arts: Poetry
- Elizabeth Muscari, of Fayetteville.

- Geoffrey Brock, of Fayetteville.
Contemporary Craft: Wood Component

Visual Arts: Public Art

The Individual Artist Fellowship program was started in 1986 and had been a unique program that supported individual creatives holistically. Awardees were chosen by independent panelists and received $5,000 each to support their artistic practice. Doors Open
Mosaic Templars Culural Center will open its doors for the Individual Artist Fellowship Awards Reception at 5 p.m. Food and refreshments will be available for attendees as soon as the museum opens. Exhibit space and arts displays will also be available.
Artist Showcase
The reception begins by celebrating Fellows' works. This year's categories were poetry, dance choreography, multisensory, contemporary craft in wood, community engagement and public works. Multiple events will be happening simultaneously.
