BICENTENNIAL CELEBRATION

Let's celebrate 200 YEARS of our CAPE FLORIDA LIGHTHOUSE - the oldest historic standing structure in Miami-Dade.

Our lighthouse turns 200 years on December 17th. You are invited to celebrate and commemorate this historic moment with a dedication, live music entertainment, refreshments, breathtaking projection presentations, the first Bill Baggs Hologram performance a unique immersive theater performance.

Lite bites and refreshments will be served.

LOCATION: Lighthouse Compound. (the ground around the lighthouse is gravel and sandy, please choose appropriate footwear). Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park.

TICKETS ARE REQUIRED for all guests.

• PROJECTION MAPPING BICENTENNIAL PRESENTATIONS: William Calhoun Baggs comes to life by Hologram Solutions and Technologies. Lighthouse and Cape Florida's History in moving pictures by Hosford Studio, RealitySync 3D Lighthouse animation and projection.
• IMMERSIVE THEATER EXPERIENCE Juggerknot Theatre Company presents "Cape Florida Chronicles". Step inside a pop-up immersive journey that brings the history of the Cape Florida and the historic Lighthouse to life. Written by: FranceLuce Benson. Directed by: Tai Thompson
• GIFT SHOP WILL BE OPEN.
