Join us for an unforgettable celebration on April 19, 2026, as Hats Off for Veterans (HOFV) proudly marks its 21st anniversary! This family-friendly event brings the community together to honor veterans through fellowship, delicious Black's BBQ Chicken plate, live music, silent and live auctions, fun for the kiddos, and vital resources, supporting the mission of HOFV.
Children under the age of 10 are allowed to enter and eat for free. To ensure that your child receives a plate, please register children aged 3 to 10.
Proceeds benefit the HOFV Higher Education and Workforce programs. As part of the 2026 initiative, HOFV will proudly make a donation to Veterans Assistance Dogs of Texas (VA Dogs), helping fund the training and placement of rescue service dogs for disabled Texas veterans. One condo will be reserved for you and three guests to stay Friday to Friday (7 nights) in a one-bedroom, waterfront condo on Mustang Island, a.k.a. North Padre Island. With a full-sized kitchen, washer and dryer, heated swimming pool and jacuzzi, private fishing dock, and an easy walk to the beach, any family and friends will enjoy their stay! Unfortunately, no pets allowed. Tickets are $50 for one or $100 for three. The proceeds from this donation will benefit the operations of Hats Off For Veterans. Drawing will take place on stage at 5:15 PM. Winner must be present to win.
