Mira is back!  Join us intermediate tango in January.  Queer-friendly classes.  For dancers with at least three months' experience.

Come on out for Mira Barakat's intermediate classes in January. Mira is equally amazing at leading and following, and provides guidance on technique for both roles. She is an expert at communicating clearly to a large group.These classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers,” and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people. No partner necessary; the teacher encourages people to switch partners throughout the class.Wednesdays, January 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th 8:00-8:30 pm: practica 8:30-9:30 pm: intermediate tango 9:30-10:00 pm: practicaThe practicas are included with the classes. Mira teaches a beginner class on the same dates at 7:00 pm, right before the intermediate class. This is the ticket for the intermediate class.Drinks are for sale at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge, across the hall from the ballroom. All ages are welcome in the dance classes.
