What am I allowed to bring with me to the event?

Accepted Answer

Small bags (subject to search), sunscreen, bug spray, personal umbrellas, and empty water bottles are allowed. If you have any questions please email events@wildheartbrewing.com.

Question 2

What am I not allowed to bring with me to the event?

Accepted Answer

Coolers, chairs, tents, large bags, or backpacks (all bags subject to search), outside food or beverage, illicit or illegal substances, and weapons are not allowed. Note that chairs will be allowed for the free games and concert after the beer festival. Contact events@wildheartbrewing.com if needed.

Question 3

Am I allowed to leave the festival and return later?

Accepted Answer

You can leave and be re-admitted if you still have on your wristband. If your wristband looks like it's been tampered with, you will not be re-admitted.

Question 4

Where do I park?

Accepted Answer

Any of the public parking in Downtown Hartsville is up for grabs. If you are staying in a nearby hotel overnight, we suggest you leave your car in their parking lot and walk over. We will have overflow parking lots nearby. Details on that will be published closer to 'fest time.

Question 5

Can I bike to the event?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We encourage it. There's a bike rack on the Railroad Ave side of Wild Heart Brewing you can lock your bike up on.

Question 6

I have tickets but can no longer attend. What do I do?

Accepted Answer

Bummer! You can transfer your ticket to someone else, though. Just log into Eventbrite, go to your ticket, and edit the name and email address on your ticket or tickets. Once you save the changes, the new ticket holder will receive an email with the tickets. Visit eventbrite.com/help for more info.

I have another issue with my ticket. What do I do?

First, check eventbrite.com/help for answers to almost all questions. If you still have an issue or question about your tickets, please email events@wildheartbrewing.com and we'll  try our best to help.

Question 8

Can I get a refund for my tickets?

Accepted Answer

No, tickets for Wild Hartsville are non-refundable and the festival will be held rain-or-shine. You can transfer your tickets to someone else, though. See the item above for instructions.

Question 9

What's the weather policy for Wild Hartsville?

Accepted Answer

Wild Hartsville is a rain or shine event. The festival will go on even with rain unless, of course, conditions are unsafe.

Question 10

Can I volunteer?

Accepted Answer

We couldn't put on this festival without our amazing volunteers! Volunteers will get free general admission tickets to the event and will work in shifts so that they can enjoy the festival when not on shift. Visit wildhartsville.com to sign up.

Are pets allowed at the event?

Accepted Answer

With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed at Wild Hartsville. We're expecting a lot of people and noise throughout the event don't think it's a good or safe environment for pets outside of trained service animals.

Question 12

Is there an age restriction?

Accepted Answer

Guests, including designated drivers and volunteers, must be 21 years of age or older to enter the event. We will verify the age of everyone entering the event and issuing wristbands.

Where can I stay for the event?

Accepted Answer

There are three hotels within a block of Wild Heart Brewing: The Hampton Inn, The Fairfield Inn, and The Mantissa Hotel. See wildhartsville.com for details on block rates. There are also at least a dozen Airbnbs in town—including several within walking distance.

Question 14

My card got charged multiple times for my tickets. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

Multiple charges called authorizations or duplicates usually drop off your account within 3-5 business days. You must wait until the charges are no longer in a "pending" status before we can do anything. If you inadvertently made multiple purchases, please contact us.

Question 15

Will you have any special beers I can't find locally?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! That’s one of our main goals, and we plan to have lots of special beers, especially in our exclusive VIP area, that you can’t find locally on store shelves.

Question 16

Can I hand out flyers or cards at the festival?

Accepted Answer

Unless you are a vendor, solicitation of any kind, including handing out flyers, cards, or pamphlets, is prohibited without explicit prior approval.

Question 17

Are donations tax deductible?

Accepted Answer

Maybe. Donations to the event, and proceeds from the event, go to the South Carolina Brewers Guild, a 501(c)(6) organization with the EIN 47-3360169. Please consult a tax professional about deductions.

Question 18

What is a DD ticket?

Accepted Answer

DD tickets are for designated drivers. DDs are  welcome at the event and we encourage guests to come with a DD. DDs can enjoy all of the event except the alcohol. DDs must still be 21 years of age or older to enter the event and can enter early if they accompany a VIP ticket holder.
