Music in the Gallery (collab. with Howey Music + CFCF)
Free event: Live music inspired by the art inside the gallery + an artist talk!
In this rare event in Maitland, the Art & History Museums of Maitland (A&H) invites the Central Florida Composer’s Forum (CFCF) and the Howey Music Series (HMS) into our current gallery exhibition a loom, a fence, a wire, a thread by Mär Martinez. Local composers will take inspiration from the art in our galleries to create new short compositions that pair with Martinez’s artistic visions. Plus, a virtual artist talk with Mär Martinez moderated by Chief Curator Dan L. Hess.

Performance Details
HMS artists will perform CFCF member compositions with guest musicians from Mudita America.

This evening is a collaboration with Howie Music Series and the Central Florida Composer's Forum, presented during our monthly Last Wednesday hours, when our gallery is open free of charge with cash bar from 5:30-8pm.
Admission, to this event is FREE! However, donations of any size are gratefully accepted with your order or at the event, in order to support our many free community programs.
All 2025-26 free programs at A&H are supported by a grant from Duke Energy Foundation.
