Come on up to the VIP LOUNGE at the Palm Springs Cultural Center, live entertainment weekly! Enjoy unparelled views of the Coachella Valley, sip craft cocktails and enjoy lite fare from Mildred's Menu.

Each week features a rotating roster of pro SoCal jazz masters with fan favorites, Girl From Ipanema, Besame Mucho, Sway, Moondance, Nature Boy, and more from the Great American Songbook. Tickets are $20 and include two drinks. Drink tokens will be given at check-in.

HOSTSLeanna | vocalsLeanna is an award-nominated entertainer with residencies with her husband/conga player Miguel Gomez at V Lounge, 'Jazz on the 2nd Floor' (Palm Springs Cultural Center), and produces 'Drag Pop' a Drag/Burlesque Cabaret. Often called by fans the modern day Ricky &amp; Lucy - due to their comedic stage personas and show business partnership. Highlights including shows at Frank Sinatra Estate and opening the Playboy Jazz Festival at The Hollywood Bowl. She holds a BA Degree - Theatre Arts from CSULB. Miguel Gomez | congasMiguel has been playing congas professionally for five years and holds a BA Degree in Interior Design. Since a very young age, he has performed live on stage in Miami, and in his native Colombia. He currently holds residencies at V Lounge, Jazz on the 2nd Floor | Palm Springs Cultural Center, and other venues throughout the Coachella Valley.JAZZ COLLECTIVE ROSTER (Featured Band Members)Wayne Boyer | piano &amp; flugelhornWayne Boyer has had the honor of working as musician and musical director for many major artist and entertainers such as Jose Feliciano, Charo, Debbie Reynolds, Frankie Avalon, Jimmy Smith, and Diane Schuur. On any given show, you can see Wayne playing the piano, flugelhorn, and left-peddle bass SIMULTANEOUSLY. He has arranged and produced many recordings for famously known artist and top television shows.Leon Bisquera | pianoLeon has played with Chaka Khan and toured with Anita Baker and Randy Crawford (Streetlife) collectively for 15 yrs. He also has 2 Gold Records with Boney James. Andy Fraga | drumsAndy Fraga has worked with notable names such as Diane Schuur, Tom Scott, Jennifer Holliday, Laurence Hobgood, Kurt Elling, Chadwick Johnson, Jonathan Karrant, and Audra McDonald, including performances at Kennedy Center's 25th Anniversary (aired on PBS), Havana Jazz Festival, Jazz in the Pines, and San Francisco Jazz Festival, and notable venues all over the region, including Melvyn's, Purple Room, The Show, and Jazz At The 12th Floor Lounge, just to name a few. Lewis Jones | drumsLewis hails from Ohio, is a professor of music and has performed in the US and Europe with groups such as Manchester Camerata and the BBC Orchestra. He is currently the drummer for Desert Winds Freedom Band and performs regularly at PS Underground and with Keisha D - Soulful Sundays at the Palm Springs Cultural Center. Joe Canoura | flute &amp; saxJoe Canoura's great claim to fame is that he was featured on the Ray Barretto's Latin crossover hit, the boogaloo El Watusi, which went to Number 17 on the American pop charts in 1963.<a href="https://youtu.be/HBlQ48m8UuM" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> https://youtu.be/HBlQ48m8UuM</a>He played with Tito Puente during his last tour before his passing, at the House of Blues - New Orleans. Tito was overheard telling Joe during that show, "I see you still got your chops". As Fredy Omar (The New Orleans Latin King of Frenchmen Street) recounts: "we opened a show for Tito Puente at the House of Blues and when we got there, Tito's band was doing a soundcheck. The pianist, Sonny Bravo, he was going, 'Joe? Oh my God! Joe Canoura!' Tito Puente had a lot of veterans playing with him and all the guys knew Joe."Notable venues include: The Palladium in NYC, Jazzfest - New Orleans. Caribe Hilton - Old San Juan, Carnegie Hall, Club Virginia - Los Angeles. Joe also played with Puerto Rico famed Trumpeter Miguelito Miranda. Kenyon Carter | SaxKenyon Carter is an internationally acclaimed saxophonist and recording artist specializing in jazz, R&B, and pop. His music can be heard on contemporary jazz radio around the world, ahd he also performs locally throughout Southern California.With 25+ years of experience as an arranger, composer, and producer, Kenyon also creates custom music for film and television, writes custom arrangements for other artists, and offers musical transcription services for individual musicians up to Big Bands.James Gastelum | bassA desert native from Indio, James studied jazz performance at Northern Illinois University, and is the leader of piano trio Black Market Jazz. Doug MacDonald | guitarOriginally from Philadelphia, Doug began his career in Hawaii, where he played with Trummy Young and Gabe Balthazar, and with Del Courtney at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. Relocating to Las Vegas, Doug found himself immersed in a vibrant music scene, and began playing in lounges and showrooms with jazz greats, including Joe Williams, Carl Fontana, Jack Montrose, and Carson Smith. On to Los Angeles, Doug played in the bands of Bill Holman, Ray Anthony, and John Clayton, and performed and recorded with Jake Hanna, Rosemary Clooney, Jack Sheldon, Bob Cooper, Ross Tompkins, Ray Brown, Buddy Rich, and Ray Charles. Doug also began recording and performing with his own trio and quartet, as well as his 13 piece ensemble, The Jazz Coalition. Bill Saitta | bassBill Saitta has been in love with music his entire life. A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston. Bill performs on electric and double basses and is comfortable in many genres of music. He is active in clubs, concerts, festivals &amp; clinics. Jay Lewis | drums studied at Berkeley School of Music, tours in Japan-Italy-England and US, played/recorded with Bill Champlin, Warren Haynes, Tom Scott, Lee Osker, Glen Campbell, Jim Stafford, Brian Nova...to name few. He has performed at the Annenberg Theater, The McCallum, Melvyn's, Purple Room, Vicky's of Santa Fe, Buddy Greco's, and all the casinos.
