Who is the Iron Sharpens Iron Men’s Equipping Conference for?

The conference is for all men age 13 and older. There are sixteen equipping seminars designed for men in all seasons of life—young and old, single and married, church leaders and those new to the faith, fathers and grandfathers.

Yes! Register with the men of your church to receive the group rate.

Are meals included in the registration?

Accepted Answer

Snacks, coffee, and water are included. Lunch is optional. Many church groups bring a cooler of sandwiches or a grill to cook hot dogs.

Can I choose seminars before the conference?

No. Seminar presenters will introduce themselves and their ministry organizations onsite, then share what their seminar is about. At that point, you can make an informed decision.

No, it is not. Iron Sharpens Iron is a Christ-centered parachurch men’s ministry that equips local churches to train men for spiritual leadership in the home, church, and community. Our Statement of Faith aligns with that of the NAE.

Who started Iron Sharpens Iron, and when and where did it begin?

Brian Doyle started Iron Sharpens Iron as part of Vision New England Men’s Ministries in January 2000. The first two conferences were held in Southern New England in 2001.

What does the day look like?

Starts at 8:30 AM with worship. MC introduces keynote and seminar leaders. Attend 6–8 seminars. Lunch is optional. After lunch, MC introduces the next seminar block. Attend another seminar, then reconvene to close the day at 2:55 PM.
