Explore Textile Hive’s Living Archive, featuring the Andrea Aranow Collections and 200 years of global textile design.
Join us for a guided tour of Textile Hive, home to the Andrea Aranow Textile Design and Material Culture Collections, now housed in our newly completed Living Archive space.
The collections include more than 50,000 textiles, garments, and design materials representing over 70 countries and 200 years of global creativity. During the tour, we will explore the life and pioneering career of Andrea Aranow, whose vision and curiosity shaped one of the most significant private textile archives in the world.
The experience includes a visit to the permanent exhibit, the design showroom, library, the gift shop, and hands on time with the teaching collection, offering visitors a rare opportunity to engage directly with the materials.
Each tour lasts approximately 75 to 90 minutes and includes an introduction to the collections’ history, a walkthrough of the space, and time for discussion and questions.
