Being surrounded by friends and family is what my heart needs. It's been a tough year in many ways for all of us.So let's conjure up our best witch energy to manifest a rain-free New Year's Eve. The night will happen rain or moonshine. And if we get a little wet, let's use that to cleanse our ourselves of all the hatred spewed in 2025.I have a long history and many great memories with the Phoenix Hotel. In 2005, I began producing my annual Pride event at the venue. The party's success took off at the Phoenix Hotel/Bambuddha Lounge. The tagline "Are you going to Juanita's pool party?" remains in use today. That is where my party gained momentum, and it continued to grow. To date, we have raised over $1 million, supporting some of our community's most impactful nonprofit organizations as beneficiaries.In 2021, David Harness called and asked if I would like to host a New Year's Eve party with him at the Phoenix Hotel – I said yes immediately. David and I have known each other for over 30 years, having spent most of that time creating safe spaces where people can come together, party, dance, and socialize. We have spent New Year's Eve together since then, and it has become something I look forward to every year.David Harness said, "I'm so honored to be part of the history of the Phoenix Hotel. It was the venue where our Mighty Real Pride Weekend came to life and where we welcomed iconic artists and DJs from all over the world—Evelyn Champagne King, Crystal Waters, Robin S, Ultra Naté, David Morales, Tedd Patterson, Mousse T, Derrick Carter, and so many more. The energy and music we created through Mighty Real made it a must-go event, and the Phoenix gave us the home to make that magic happen."It will be bittersweet to ring in the new year while bidding farewell to such an iconic space. Join us for one final night of magic under the palms as we say goodbye to San Francisco’s beloved rock-’n’-roll motor lodge.Step into an electric evening hosted by Juanita MORE!, San Francisco’s own queen of glamour and good energy, with a headline DJ set from house legend David Harness. Expect deep grooves, fierce looks, and a joyful crowd that knows how to bring in the new year right.Supporting sets from Subeaux, Bugie, and Poundcake keep the dance floor glowing all night, while a live performance by Ehra Amaya delivers the kind of art and movement only found in SF’s creative heartbeat.The Phoenix’s heated pool, neon courtyard, and mid-century flair set the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable countdown — and a toast to the years of love, music, and culture that made this space legendary.
