Where can I park?

Parking is available in the Water Street Garage (200 E. Water Street). The garage is just 3 blocks from the Irving Theater.  Alternatively, the Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) bus stops at Stop #11036 (Water St. @ Omni) outside the entrance to the Irving Theater.

Will there be a reception to follow?

Accepted Answer

Yes! A reception will immediately follow the program and will run until 5:00pm. It will take place in the same venue. Beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and light bites will be available.

May I bring a guest?

We welcome you to bring a guest, but we ask that each person register themselves. Please forward the link to this event webpage to your guest and ask them to RSVP.

Is the Irving Theater handicap-accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the CODE Building is ADA-compliant. All guests may enter and exit using the same front entrance.

Question 6

How formal is this event? Is there a dress code?

This is an informal afternoon colloquium. We recommend "clean casual" attire.
