The Palmetto Club

Imagine your favorite cookie paired with the perfect glass of wine. That’s Cookies &amp; Cabernet — an evening where dessert meets decadence, hosted by the Columbia Gamecocks at the elegant Palmetto Club. Beginning at 6:30 PM on December 2, this is a tasting event with a twist: sommelier-selected wines paired with a curated assortment of cookies (from classic chocolate chip to gourmet surprises), designed to highlight how flavor, texture, and temperature transform each sip and bite.Expect an engaging, social tasting format with guided pairing notes,heavy hor d'ouvres, fun tasting games, and plenty of “a-ha!” moments. Whether you’re a wine novice, cookie connoisseur, or a Gamecock looking for a memorable night out, this event delivers warmth, laughter, and delightful discoveries.
