We are delighted to welcome you to the 45th Annual John V. Thornton Mid-Winter Conference, taking place from March 18 - 22, 2026. This esteemed event will be hosted by the Most Worshipful Consolidated Hiram Grand Lodge, A.F. & A.M. of Virginia, Incorporated, and the Virginia State Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. Our fraternal organization members are eagerly awaiting your arrival in our beloved state of Virginia.

Our goal is to make your stay in the “Virginia is for Lovers” area as enjoyable and fraternally enriching as possible. The conference center is located at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport Hotel in Herndon, Virginia, just a 30-minute drive from the vibrant city of Washington, DC. This location offers the best of both worlds - the excitement of city life and the charm of a small-town ambiance.

The Washington, DC area is packed with attractions, entertainment, and shopping venues to keep you engaged during your free time at the conference. Whether you’re a fan of lively city life or prefer a quieter, small-town atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.

For your convenience, we highly recommend flying into Dulles Airport. If you need to cancel your trip plans after making your hotel reservation, please contact the State before doing so, especially after the cutoff date of Friday, February 6, 2026.
