Temescal String Quartet teams up with pianist Carl Blake at The Clarion.

A temescal is a ritual bath house found in pre-Hispanic Mexico which was used to bring physical and spiritual renewal. The concept spoke to the four musician-friends and thus named their quartet: The Temescal String Quartet.The quartet is composed of Barbara Riccardi and Katherine Button, violins, Jonna Hervig, viola, and Nancy Bien, cello. The quartet will be joined by Carl Blake, pianist in this performance.Kindred SpiritCome to our social time before and after the concert. Small snacks and drinks are available.

About the VenueClarion Performing Arts Center is a hidden gem in the heart of Chinatown. Its intimate setting and cozy seating bring audience and performers together to create magic. It's a space of respite from the bustling neighborhood. Discover Galeria Clarion and the Showgirl Magic Museum in the underground alcove. During the pandemic we're open on Saturdays only. Face mask and proof of vaccination is required.
