Join us for an evening dedicated to adult readers. Our annual Book Tasting for Adults explores a curated selection of outstanding fiction and nonfiction from 2025, with recommendations presented by Hicklebee's adult buyer Carol Doup Muller. There will be something perfect for you, whether you’re looking for yourself or seeking holiday gifts.We’re thrilled to welcome guest author Evelyn Skye, presenting her novel The Incredible Kindness of Paper. A book-club-friendly romance novel, Kindness tells the story of Kansas childhood besties who unexpectedly– even magically–find one another decades later in New York.Evelyn is the New York Times bestselling author of 10 novels, including Damsel (which became a Netflix film starring Millie Bobby Brown, Robin Wright, and Angela Bassett) and The Hundred Loves of Juliet.
