A place for kids to shineFounded byMatilda Manning Kuninin 1983,Young Performers Theatreis a San Francisco-based nonprofit whose mission is to provide every child in the Bay Area with access to theatre arts-based enrichment curricula. Through itsTheatre in Educationand outreach programs,repertory productions,classesandsummer camps, YPT helps children build core social-emotional learning skills and sets the stage for success in many fields of endeavor outside of performance. Our programs are designed to cultivate a love of the arts and develop creative problem-solving abilities, teamwork, focus, empathy and self-confidence.

For our youngest performers (ages 3 to 5), this introduction to creative drama features storytelling and improvisational games.

<p>For our youngest performers, this introduction to creative drama features storytelling and improvisational games. Kids will engage with classic stories and follow their imaginations to come up with inventive ways of dramatizing the dialogue and action. Ages 3 to 5.</p><p>Mondays 3:30-4:15</p>
