Grow with Us- Success in the Summer Vegetable Garden (Virtual)

Thursday, April 30, 2026

6:00 PM

This is an ONLINE SEMINAR via ZOOM, presented by our Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteers. Please note that the session will not be recorded. The same program will be presented in person at the Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch Library in Greensboro, NC, on a different date. Click here to view the information and register for the in-person session.

Late spring is the perfect time to talk about the challenges and rewards of growing food plants while dealing with the heat, humidity, and other hassles of our Piedmont conditions. We’ll discuss strategies for success in the summer vegetable garden - by following best practices, and using an integrated pest management approach.

The talk is free - but capacity is limited. Please register to reserve the Zoom link. The Zoom link will be provided to you upon registration in a confirmation email and will also be accessible through your Eventbrite account. If you are unable to access the Zoom link, contact Holly Key (hmkey@ncsu.edu) as soon as possible for the best chance of her being able to assist you.

A program handout providing links to abundant resources and in-depth information will be made available to registrants via the email address provided in a reminder email 24 hours before the program. The handout will also be accessible after the session on our website.

If you encounter problems registering or if you have questions, please contact Holly Key (hmkey@ncsu.edu). Thank you for your interest in our "Grow with Us" programming!
