Make Lehigh Valley is a shared workspace and a community of makers, hackers, and creatives based out of Allentown, Pennsylvania. We believe that sharing knowledge and ideas with each other allows us to be great makers. Our space provides access to a wide variety of tools including machines you probably don't have at home like our 60W laser cutter, homemade CNC, and 3D printer.Make Lehigh Valley is an all-volunteer nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. We are generously supported by the Allentown Economic Development Corportation at our home inside the Bridgeworks Enterprise Center at 905 Harrison St., Suite 103 Allentown, PA 18103

Join is for a practical, hands-on workshop with the 3D printers at Make Lehigh Valley! You'll work directly with the hardware, slice real models on your laptop, and watch prints start to take shape. We assume you know what 3D printing is, but have never actually done it yourself. Perfect for complete beginners!<ul><li>Master the basics of operating our 3D printers (Ender 3, CR-10s, and K1-SE)</li><li>Slice your first model using free software</li><li>Start an actual print and learn what makes the critical first layer successful</li><li>Troubleshoot common issues so you can print independently</li><li>Discover free resources for 3D models and design software</li></ul><h4>What to Bring:</h4><ul><li>Your laptop (we'll help you install free slicing software)</li><li>Curiosity and questions!</li><li>A design idea or project you'd like to create (optional)</li></ul><h4>Workshop Details:</h4><ul><li>Duration: 60-90 minutes</li><li>Class Size: Limited to 12 ensure everyone gets some hands-on time</li><li>Equipment Provided: All printers, materials, and tools.</li><li>Pricing: Pay-what-you-can.
