1LUCome celebrate design excellence at our annual Design Awards Gala.About the AwardsThis is a unique opportunity for your company to have a presence in the architectural community of Santa Barbara. We have submissions from licensed architects in the Santa Barbara area, as well as from architects outside Santa Barbara if their project was located in Santa Barbara County. Honor, Merit, and Honorable Mentions may be recognized in the following categories: Commercial Buildings; Single Family Residential, Mixed Use and Multi-Family Residential; Conservation Projects: Historic Preservation, Restoration, Rehabilitation or Reconstruction; Santa Barbara Style; Small Projects: Single Family Residential Additions, Remodels or Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU&#x27;s); Commercial Interiors; Residential Interiors; and Proposed/Unbuilt Projects.Also awarded at the Gala will be the annual Lutah Maria Riggs community award.Jurors
Donlyn Lyndon, FAIA is an active and well recognized designer, writer and educator, the recipient of many awards, he has taught and lead the Architecture Departments of the University of Oregon, MIT and Berkeley.
Maureen Sullivan is principle and cofounder of Pica + Sullivan Architects; the educator and communicator who brings our work to the world at large. She has an expertise and interest in the master plan process, entitlement, client relations, and sustainability. 
Michael W. Folonis, FAIA is known for his thoughtful, dedicated approach to regional modernist design. With over 30 years of experience in design, programming, construction and management Mr. Folonis’ broad base of experience ranges from mixed-use, multi-family residential, medical, commercial, and single-family projects, as well as extensive experience in the restoration of historically significant Modernist architecture. 
Schedule and Dress codeArrive at 5 pm for mingling at the end of the sunset over the ocean and dinner and presentation will start around 6.00 pm. Dress: business casual. There will be a no host cashbar, and a buffet meal. Location and ParkingThe Gala will be held in the beautiful Cabrillo Pavilion, 1118 East Cabrillo Boulevard, Santa Barbara 93103 - right on the ocean.
