Grief Never Ends!

While millions are celebrating the holiday season, millions of others are silently struggling. National Grief Awareness Week, which NO ONE even knows about, is December 2nd through the 8th.

This year, the world will know!

Healing Together Through the Holidays is also happening December 2nd through the 8th. Attend virtually (all times are in EST or in person, LIVE, in Traverse City, Michigan. Whichever you choose - just register so you get all the pre-event bonuses, beginning the night before Thanksgiving.

You'll also receive the replays of all of the talks and all of the resources at the end of each day during the event, December 2nd through the 8th. But don't get overwhelmed. You'll have access to the Healing Together Through the Holidays library, where everything will be kept in one safe place until March, 2026.

Please share this with anyone and everyone. There isn’t enough support available in this world, let alone during the holidays. No one should be struggling alone!

And if you’d like to get involved and be a part of my movement to get the invisible populations seen - please reach out! If Hot Dog Day gets to be on calendars, Grief Awareness Days absolutely deserve a spot.

Jill McLennen

I’m Jill McClennen, a Certified Death Doula and InSight Certified Funeral Celebrant. I guide individuals and families through life’s final chapter with compassion, clarity, and heart, helping them navigate end-of-life care, grief, and meaningful ceremony. My path to this work began in 2006, when my husband and I moved from California to New Jersey to open a bakery and care for my 90-year-old grandmother at home. During her final six weeks in hospice, I faced emotions I never expected. Balancing her care while raising a young family taught me that death isn’t just an ending, it’s a deeply transformative part of life. If you want to read more about my story caring for my Grandmother, check out this blog post. That experience showed me how unprepared most families are for dying, emotionally and practically. I wish someone had educated me about what to expect and guided me through it, offering understanding and tools to make it easier. That wish became my calling.
