What is “Healing Together Through the Holidays”?

It is a Hybrid event beginning November 26th, ending in March 2026. Designed to support anyone navigating grief—whether from the loss of a loved one, a pet, a relationship, a career, or any major life change. It’s a space to heal, connect, & find community during what can be a difficult time of year

Who is hosting this event?

The event is hosted by Samantha Ruth, founder of Griefhab—a psychologist, speaker, and mental health advocate dedicated to helping people heal unapologetically and authentically.

Where will the event take place?

Accepted Answer

The main event will be held live in Northern Michigan (exact location coming soon), with full virtual access available worldwide, so no one is left out.

Is there a cost to attend?

What can I expect during the week?

Each day offers a blend of healing workshops, keynote talks, creative experiences (like journaling and art therapy), grief resources, and safe-space discussions. Expect connection, compassion, and tools you can use long after the event ends.

Who should attend?

Anyone grieving—no matter how recent or long ago the loss occurred. Friends, caregivers, and supporters are welcome, as are mental health professionals who want to learn more about grief support.

Do I need to attend every day?

Not at all. You can attend as many or as few sessions as you wish. Each day offers standalone workshops and activities, so you can join when your schedule allows.

Will recordings be available?

Yes. Virtual attendees will have access to recordings and downloadable materials for continued support after the event.

What if I’m not ready to talk about my grief?

That’s okay. You don’t have to share to benefit from the event. You can listen, learn, and engage at your own pace. Your healing journey is personal, and this space honors that.

How do I sign up?

Registration can be completed directly through Eventbrite. Once registered, you’ll receive confirmation, pre-event resources (available starting November 26), and access links for live and virtual sessions.

This event welcomes people of all beliefs and backgrounds. While some speakers may share personal faith experiences, the focus is on inclusivity, compassion, and universal healing.

Is there a community space to stay connected before the event?

Yes. Please join the Griefhab Facebook community to get weekly lives, speaker announcements, and updates between now and the event.

Can I bring my pet?

Accepted Answer

No attendee pets. Griefhab therapy animals will be present. Service animals require prior approval—please contact Samantha before arriving.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes. Kids are welcome at no additional cost. Licensed therapists and staff are on site. Some sessions may be more adult-focused, but there are places/activities for kids.

Is transportation available from the airport?

Yes. Transportation is available (airport is about 12 minutes away).
