Where does the Candlelight Tour start?

The Candlelight Tour always starts at the Crawford House, 189 Montgomery Street, Newburgh, NY. Start here to collect your guidebook which serves as your ticket and provides information for all the houses on this year's tour.

How many houses are on the tour this year?

Accepted Answer

Most years, we aim for between 15-20 different sites. These are mainly residences, but can also be newly-renovated buildings, institutions, historic sites and churches in and around the Newburgh area.

Can I walk the Candlelight Tour?

Accepted Answer

While we try to have some houses in the immediate environs of the Crawford House, this is not always possible. We have a number of houses out in the town of Newburgh and the town of New Windsor, and a car will be necessary to get to them.

Question 4

Do you offer children's tickets?

Accepted Answer

Children under 12 are free; for older children, we ask that you also purchase a ticket for them.
