Lansing City Futsal VS Mitwest Detroit

A NEW FUTSAL LEAGUEThe Futsal Champions Series is a new futsal league launching November 2021! The league is starting with a four team "series" in November and December of 2021 and then will move to a bigger "series" of six teams for the months of January, February, and March of 2022. The league's growth plan is to utilize the Lansing City Arena as host to all of of the league games played in the first two initial series. The Lansing City Arena features a world class futsal environment with seating for over 1,000 fans, a full FIFA international sized court, and many theatrics that they dub "the show". It will be the perfect environment to kickstart this new american futsal league!THE FOUR TEAMSThe first four teams that will be participating in the inagural series this November is Lansing City Futsal (whose home arena is the Lansing City Arena,) Mitwest Detroit, Futsal Indy (Indianapolis), and WSG Futsal (Milwaukee. These four teams will play each twice over the course of about 60 days. All the games will be hosted and played at the Lansing City Arena in Lansing, Mi! After regular season play has been completed, the four teams will be seeded for playoffs. #1 seed will play #4 and #2 will play #3. The series will conclude with the first ever Futsal Champions Series Final in December!THE MISSIONThe purpose of the league is to provide a stable launching pad for high level futsal in the USA! With the recent success of the US Futsal National Team winning the silver medal in CONCACAF and qualifying for the FIFA Futsal World Cup for the first time since 2008, Futsal is on the rise! Our goal at FCS, is to capture the attention of the sports fan with this wonderful game we call Futsal! Welcome to Futsal.
