Tango is for everyone!  Join us for a series of four dance classes in Berkeley!  No experience necessary; no partner necessary.

Join us for tango classes with Luz Castineiras in February! Luz is a highly experienced tango teacher who teaches fun, active classes. In the beginner class, she introduces the fundamentals of social tango. Learn lead-follow technique and simple, dynamic figures.Wednesdays, February 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th 6:45 pm: check-in 7:00-8:00 pm: beginning tango series 8:00-8:30 pm: practicaThe beginner class is open to all levels. We also hold an intermediate-level class at 8:30 pm on the same dates.These classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers,” and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people.No partner necessary; the teacher encourages people to switch partners throughout the class. The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions!Beginners may stay and watch the intermediate class.
