Our mission is to raise awareness of the mental health risks and challenges facing our youth and parents, and actively contribute to suicide prevention education and efforts within the Edgemont Community and schools.Our goals are to:Increase focused and effective suicide prevention education in our schools;Implement mentoring programs that recruit and train student and parent mentors as resources to support all members of our community with questions, concerns and challenges related to mental wellness and suicide prevention; and,Foster an open and positive dialogue among students, parents and teachers to increase open discussions on mental health awareness and suicide prevention and reduce the stigma attached to discussing and acknowledging mental challenges.Our hope is that through the ZMA Foundation we can provide additional suicide prevention and mental health awareness tools to the Edgemont community.
