The Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment is a 501c(3) nonprofit aimed at expanding access to our digital heritage and celebrating the diversity of its contributors. We do this by preserving digital entertainment, restoring its playability, educating about its creation, and using it to engage the community.

Virtual Worlds &amp; Walt Disney:"Everything I need to know about Virtual Worlds, I learned at Disneyland"Game developers often compare development of games and film; Virtual Worlds (VW) invite a parallel to real-world “play spaces,” particularly Theme Parks. For more than 50 years, theme parks have been creating worlds for thousands of simultaneous “players” intended for play and entertainment. We can draw on these best practices for creating compelling spaces: issues such as quality of experience; narrative flow; party-dynamics; crowd control and user retention. As each new VW comes online, it struggles with these perennial issues; this careful analysis of Best of Breed provides designers with a different, but well-developed, perspective in this creation process.About Patricia Pizer:A 30+ year veteran of the games industry, Patricia has a lifelong love of games. Most childhood family memories revolve around card games and board games. On her own, she devoured puzzles and games with her friends.She has worked on games from Asheron's Call 2 to the present day as a test, analyst, writer and more. She currently works as a Director of Games Research and Fun at Parrot Concepts and does contract work thoughout the industry. MADE Forum:MADE Forum is a somewhat monthly talk series from video game and digital art professionals talking about their personal history and techniques.
